Simplicity sewing competition

My free pattern arrived from SimplicityNewLook this week and I decided to try it out on the third piece of fabric my daughter in law gave me for Xmas.

Here it is hung over the door, it has a wide pattern on both ends and has some silver glittery threads in the pattern. It is very light weight and may stretch on this neck line.   I made a blouse not long ago with another piece R gave me with a similar wide pattern along one edge so I have experience of getting the fabric pattern to run round the bottom edge!

The competition says you can alter the look so I have decided I will have short sleeves for a start.



My husband is having the day off from greenhouse building to watch the Rugby so I am spending the afternoon playing with the cutting out!
