Trouser pattern

I have started to make my new trousers using a size 16 pattern (freebie) for which I am perfect except in the front tum area!  So I tacked up the whole garment to check fit before going too far.

The back fits perfectly but I have had to let out the front darts and increase the size at the front seam.
As I paid only £3.60 for the material I am happy to play around!

I visited Sew magazine web site earlier and there are a couple of free summer dress patterns on their templates that I shall download later.
