Depressed husband this Saturday lunch time. "My workshop vacuum cleaner thing is broken".
The end of the world as we know it has occurred.
Unsympathetic wife. "When did you last empty it? 2018? Changed the filters? Last 5 years?"
I tried that he claimed. Went to have a look.
3 mins 45 seconds later (including the walk to the shed) all mended.
(He'd taken a secondary inlet valve's cap off and not put it back on).
When you need a job done call a WOman!!
"Now I' ve saved you several hundred £££££, can I have a new ....????"
Oh I understand, how something in the work shop, failing, can be a near disaster, at least. -grin-
ReplyDeleteHooray for you, finding the fix, quickly!!!!
But! Aren't we glad we have husband's who have workshops, and can do so many things, around the house? And make things? And repair things? -smile- Yes, I think we are.

He is usually the household fixer so I gloried in the opportunity to take that role for once!
DeleteGood for you finding out how to fix the shop vac. Me, I'd still be looking for what is wrong.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
It was logic. The motor still worked, the pipe was empty of blockages and he had changed the bag correctly, not much else left. It was more his Eee-Or attitude (Pooh's miserable donkey reference) that was wrong.
