Exploring Kantha Quilting

Just come across this idea! I picked up  leaflet at a Victorian Market Fair advertising a class locally and not having heard of this did a quick  Internet search.  This looks really interesting - layers of fabric, with the inner layer made up of worn or recycle material and the layers held together with rows of running stitches. The edge of the quilted pieces bound with fabric bias.  Going to be a lot cheaper than using wadding at £7 a meter!
Going through the fabric box and planning some new baby quilts!
