Best thing on TV over Xmas?


Best thing on adult TV?  The Royal Institute Rieth lectures on BBC 4, after many years of getting the production totally wrong, BBC and Dr Kevin  Chung got absolutely everything right and we  watched 3 hours of  science knowledge and learnt a thing or two.

    We always watched the Christmas lectures they are fascinating but I haven't done it for a couple of years. You've reminded me to see if I can get them on 'catchup'.Thank you.

      Followed by 6 hours of social history of canals on BBC4 (not just your usual tourist stuff). Did not know it sparked the start of professional civil engineering and geology. How sad are we?
