I am still experimenting with this new tablet. I find blogger very difficult on it and cant connect to facebook account. I find video hard work as the sun gets on the screen and I can't see if on or off.
Still struggle on.
Meanwhile I have to get some sort of cover so I can slip it in a bag and take out with us. Started a zip up case. I have put quilting batting and stiff interfacing between the two cotton fat quarters and will quilt up. Found a second hand dress zip to use down one long side.
I think I might prefer something more of a case with a folded over flap, so I may well make another one later on.
Meanwhile husband has vertigo and I am on carer duties as every thing needing bending over (shoes etc) sends him off.
I have an ipad but still prefer to work on my old desktop pc, I like the proper keyboard.

I am getting faster at poking the screen but no where near my touch typing skills.
DeleteI also have an iPad, but I can't see anything on a screen outside. I always use my laptop for everything now. I thought the iPad would be easier to take on my camping trips, but unless I use it in the dark, it's no good to me. (In fact, it's in a drawer, somewhere, I know not where - 'cos I haven't used it at all for a long time.)
ReplyDeleteI pity your husband with vertigo; I occasionally have days of that and find it very debilitating - and scary, since I live alone. The danger of falling is always uppermost in my mind until it goes away. I hope he's soon OK again.
Vertigo sounds horrible. I hope your husband's passes quickly!
ReplyDeleteVertigo not good, been there, done that. Hope it soon passes for him. I prefer my laptop to my tablet for blogging.

The cases on eBay are very cheap. Vertigo is horrible, I had it a few years back and the nausea was dreadful.
ReplyDeleteVertigo is terrible. I had it last year and thought I was never going to get off the ship. I felt almost constantly "sea sick".
ReplyDeleteI like the fabric you are using for your case.
God bless.
