You tube allotments

This whole thing of watching stuff on You Tube is new to us as we have just got our new TV with fancy capabilities.  We got it as the plasma 10 year old one was costing as a fortune and this is costing lots less in electricity.
Since we have it we have explored some of the "freebies" like UT and films. Watched a good film about the pilgrims walk across Spain "The Way" (although Martin Sheen is not a favoured actor of mine). Probably only the 3rd film we have actually watched in 4 years.

But mostly we are looking at You Tube videos of our hobbies. Growing veg and fruit is our main occupation so we are exploring the UK based ones around "allotments". Our general opinion is it is more informative than (the current format) Gardeners World!!

My husband has 4 favourites, all young women (Hmmmmm..), who manage some interesting plots and have really good skills with the video process and talking. So far, not found a man led one that is grabbing our attention.

One in particular got my husband talking and saying how it had a "familiar feeling"?  I looked, listened and discussed it with him and thought "that's weird"?  A few taps and a bit of digging around the WWW around and it turned out that for 2 years we lived 20 yards down the road from her plot!!! We lived for about 10 years in that village and probably knew her family, by sight at least, 25 years ago as we owned a local shop for some of that time.

We like
Lavender and Leeks
Colliery Garden
Lovely Greens
and Kate something who works at Chatsworth sometimes!
Let me know if you have seen good ones please.

Husband's vertigo is easing off a bit and I have just sent him down the road to the Health Centre for some tlc.
