Rhubarb

 Too much early rhubarb! After 3 crumbles in two weeks we needed some new recipes. Rhubarb Syllabub from BBC Food web site. (Minus the wine). Stewed the rhubarb with "lazy" paste ginger and castor sugar and made the mix of mascarpone and double cream with icing sugar. Topped with pistachio nuts. Small glass was more than enough of this yummy mix.

  1. We've got loads here, too. Being lazy, I haven't got round to making a crumble yet, although I have bought a bag of crumble mix.

  2. My rhubarb plant died, so sadly we had to buy some, I've had 2 roots not survive, so I've given up trying to grow it.

  4. No rhubarb here yet - in fact no signs of life at all in the rhubarb patch. I rather think it's time may have come. I will miss it!
