Out went the old wobbly unit and sink, which allowed for cleaning and quickly painting the wall.
A temporary stand was installed and the taps reconnected to allow meals to be made for a day.
We only needed the stand for a while and it has since been used as a stand for implements while we had a BBQ and is now being modified to hold the old sink which will form an outdoor washing area near the veg plot.
The new (hand built) unit was tried out with the Butler's sink. Since then its been in, out, in, out, in out - for final adjustments like leveling, shimming round the water meter which was 15mm out of planned position and extra brace across the back.
Your kitchen will be worth the wait and you'll soon forget the hard slog that goes into home renovations. You must give us a tour when it's all finished.
