Replacement Christmas guests

The two "cuddlies" who live at Grandma's house have been given new bow ties and Christmas hats with fluffy bubbles and taken up residence on our settee. Standing in for family stuck in tier 4.  At least the chocs will last a bit longer with these two.

And the lounge now has lights garland around. No tree. Found tree needles in the stairs carpet yesterday when I was srubbing it to remove some splashed emulsion. We have not been here for last 4 Christmases and not had a tree!

We are trying to cheer ourselves up. Working our way already through saved programmes recorded in the last year as there is nothing appealing on the TV. Down to 57% from 95% full up. But at least I resolved my library problem and download! Nice stack of books ready.

  1. Same here! At least I was able to get out for a walk today even though the wind was cold and strong.

  3. Much the same here, we are very lucky and will have Christmas day with daughter, SIL and both grandsons, we have been in a support bubble as youngest grandson is disabled. After that home alone, no trips to see family.
